The newest aircraft heater is now available from Hartzell, the I-Series. Adapted from its US military proven S-Series, the I-Series heaters contain a new combustion tube made from Inconel ®. This material provides substantially improved performance over ceramic coated stainless steel in extreme temperature applications. The new I-Series heaters directly replace Hartzell and Janitrol branded B-Series heaters and are exempt from the AD applicable to the B-Series. The heaters are offered factory new, factory rebuilt, and as field Upgrade Kits. Hartzell Engine Technologies also offers other factory new FAA/PMA heater components, spark plugs, fan assemblies, combustion tubes, motors, switches, flanges, valves, gaskets, blowers, grommets, levers, and other replacement parts. • I-Series tube made from Inconel ® high temperature alloy. Provides substantially improved resistance to oxidation (corrosion) as seen in current heaters. • I-Series heater features a new spark plug. The single piece electrode allows easier replacements. • Units are rebuilt to factory new tolerances and upgraded to the latest model configuration with a new serial number. • Each rebuilt heater includes a new Inconel ® combustion tube • Three-year, 1,000-hour limited warranty, 2,000-hour TBO. • Newly designed air pressure switch. • Efficient/lightweight permanent magnet blower motor standard with some models
